of the discussions among women around the globe who are working to end
violence against women. Managed and funded by the United Nations as
part of the Beijing +5 committee. This is a fascinating and important
discussion. Women from every continent (except Antarctica!) have participated

Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA): "If

RAWA was established in Kabul, Afghanistan, in 1977 as an independent
political/social organization of Afghan women fighting for human rights
and for social justice in Afghanistan. They continue their work, in
spite of the gynocidal policies of the Taliban regime.
